I have a winter yeti .... no snaps. and I use my DIY UQ on the foot end ....Frankenquilt.

Try stringing them on just ONE shock-cord for winter...... I do and it just requires undoing the ones on them and when the season warms ..... put them both back on separate shock-cords.
