Your main issue will be the constrictor letting loose. Even the slightest bump on the unloaded end and it will slide loose.

IMO, at some point you overcome the simplicity of the prusik. I think this approaching that limit.
Yep, that will work. Need to play with bury lengths to see what holds. You could also larks head the fixed eye right to your tarp and then run your bury.

While your loading one end of the bury, you're releasing the other end. On a ucr type bury you have to load only
one end. Any tension on the other end, even a little, and it releases...
A fixed loop with a backsplice on the other end and then bury the main line of the RL in between the fixed loop and backsplice would work like a ucr.
You would then need a toggle or some other...

Intial thoughts are you still need the knotted end to close the biner. This places pull pull on the bury fine on one side but pulls the opposite side 180 degrees in the other...
