I just added myself to the attendance sheet and looking forward to seeing everyone again.
One trip! :scared:
I am gonna try and make it. it all depends if I can get out of work early enough friday.
Very Nice!
I'm order #205. I'm with you guys, can't wait to get out there with it.
Just ordered one. Can't wait to drop my 5 pound ENO setup. Only problem is now i'm not gonna be able to use my setup being heavy as an excuse to not hike.
Yes, Big thanks to Old Dog for the water. I had a great time. Sorry to see a few people couldn't make it. Can't wait for the next trip.
Its always a great weekend when you come home with more than you left with.
Not sure if I gained more weight from the awesome food, or more weight from the very generous gifts that were supplied for...

Thanks lilricky but we found the tarp. Man they were bad, we were chased back to the car at one point and they were outside rocking it for 20 minutes. We had 100% deet but it really seemed to attract...
We have made it 1 mile in and lost 2 from the mothra sized skeeters carrying them away, and lost another to malaria. This is the worst I have ever seen. I am sorry to all that come out here for...
Stove goes to Roundtrip. Enjoy.
Up for grabs is A polished Bud light bottle stove and small 3oz fuel bottle.
stove runs anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes depending on the amount of fuel added. Enjoy.
I would love the DVD if still available, if not do you still have Into the wild?
Thanks, Karl.
Thanks to all that made this happen and those that keep it going. Great group of people.
Also I will get your stove and bottle out to you Monday Photojag.
Photojag gets my stove and fuel bottle. I will send out monday.
OK, Here is my PIF.
a Realtree energy drink bottle Heet stove (homemade and tested, works great). And a small 3 ounce bottle for fuel.
Thanks Fronkey, :thumbup1:
Out at dinner but will post my PIF later tonight.
Ill take it Fronkey, if its still available. Thanks.
I have a few plans for this weekend Islander, so I wont be able to make it out for the day like I planned. Have a safe weekend though.
It has poured down in here in Ocala for a few days now. We really needed it though.
Please tell me your still allowed to go on the Richloam trip on the 16th. If not tell your wife you have to go to sell it and I will buy it from you then, (if you have not sold it by then).
I will take them if there still available. Thanks
Yeah, no problem. I'm not in any hurry.
That's funny. first time I hiked was last August with a 45# pack. Never again, I learned my lesson. I bought a smaller pack that forces me to carry less and prioritize.
I tried this on mine and it worked great now for about 4 or 5 trips. I just heated up a nail with a lighter then slowly pushed it through. I only needed a small hole to fit dynaglide through.
I seem to remember you leading the pack last time around, but thanks for the self esteem boost. We just need to watch out for poison ivy this time around.
The 2x6 boards on the bottom for support/ feet are shelf boards so they have rounded edges and slide very well on carpet. I def recommend using black iron sprinkler pipe or similar though. Good luck
This design needs a stronger center brace.
It really isn't that heavy with the poles out.
maybe 40 lbs with the poles out. I made another one out of 16 gauge carport 4 ways for the ends then just the center pole and 4 short pole feet. It was...
I made a hammock stand this weekend out of a 6' 1x6, a 8' 4x4, and some 1 5/8 inch fence posts from lowes. Also some misc eye bolts for my whoopies to hook to. I used a 1 3/4 inch hole saw and...
Just spoke to Cowbell on the phone. he doesn't get online much, but hes going.
last time I spoke to FLB he was going also.
Saturday morning, about ten if that works for everyone else.
Sounds good, like the new profile pic by the way.
I probably won't be able to make Friday again. It will most likely be dark by the time I got off work and get down there. Do we want to plan on 10:00 again or maybe even meet at your Friday night...
Yeah one day, The only way I could get this past my wife is to give her my skeeter beeter. Now I just need to have a kid to give my ENO to and I'm set.
Sorry to hear you can't make it Islander. I will definitely get some video and pics.
I just switched from a Skeeter Beeter to an ENO and love it. its way more comfortable. Good luck with the sale
Awesome.....I want:)
I started a thread in trip planning.
I will be attending, I believe the general consensus Was to take the North loop but correct me if I'm wrong. Once figured out for sure I will check the maps and see if we need to cache water again,...
Good Thinking OD
Come on I know your sitting in a comfy desk chair and not standing.
I will have to check with the wife, But that sounds good for me.
I will take the bug net if its still available. Thanks

So whens the next trip? I'm ready...
No Wasn't messing with you i just wondered if it was the same place cause I was thinking when you were rubbing it you could have spread the PI then. Just a thought, I stayed behind you for the second...
