I just tie the "tag-end" of the whoopee slings around the suspension...it gets the excess off the ground and keeps the water from wicking down to your hammock...win-win

why you wouldn't simply pick something up off the trail is beyond me...to each his own I guess

in all of the "instructables" i have seen, people are somehow sewing no-see-um mesh "baffles"...
