I won't be able to make it in March. I'll be driving the AT shuttle van for the Hiawassee Budget Inn again this year. We need a Halloween Hang.

You can catch the tram in Palm Springs to the top of San Jacinto. There is a lot of space to hike up there and a nice place to eat at the top of the tram
I found them in Greensboro, NC also. If you call the store to check availability, ask for Blue Ridge. Black Diamond is not the mfg.
I never leave home without them.
I'm shooting for Friday mid day
I'll have a 12x20 canopy setup with me. We should be well protected if it does rain.
How about inviting a representative from Homes For Our Troops to the hang. It would be interesting to hear more about their operation

Has anyone found the down throws at Costco lately. I've looked all over So Cal and Nevada and can't find them.
I couldn't find them at my Costco yesterday but I'll try a couple of others early next week. I'll let you know if I find any.
I picked up a couple of these throws a while ago. My thought was to use them by doubling up. See how cold one will go then add another quilt and so on.
I picked up a couple of these. They should do great as quilts in moderate weather. The price leaves a lot of room to experiment. I've been using them in hotels with the air full blast and they did a...
A jackstand under the hitch receiver would take care of that
Can someone explain the difference between UCRs and Whoopie Slings. A tutorial for the UCR would be useful too. I've tried to search but nothing comes up.
I've been on the CPAP since 1992. I've used a deep cycle battery with a power inverter to power the cpap. Since I've started using a hammock, I've found I don't need the cpap. The lay in the hammock...
I'll be there
Depends will keep you warm the rest of the night.
I've been considering a run up to Kennedy Meadows for Memorial Day. It's off the 395 north of Ridgecrest. Anyone interested?
It was great meeting everyone out there. Drive back was stupid. Ortega highway was still closed and the 91 toll lanes were closed. It was almost you can't get there from here.
Is this the stuff we were trying to remember the other night? http://www.louisianapepper.com/
I'm late to the party. I have a dentist appt in Orange tomorrow and was thinking of coming down to the hang. I was out of town last year.
I'm going to try to make it. I'm taking Dad to Houston and should be back in time.
Going to bump this up. I've been on the road since early July. I hope to get up to the area the Thurs before. Looking forward to meeting a lot of hangers from the area. Thanks to Triggerhpy for...
I was thinking along the line of around Oct 5-7. Camp somewhere we can hang. Do some hiking around the area in the mornings and hike to Octoberfest in the late afternoon. I haven't been up there for...
Anyone up for a hang in Big Bear during Octoberfest?
I find I can sleep great in my Hennessey and don't miss my CPAP. I have been thinking about hanging it at home and sleeping in it full time.
I forgot to break out my Jack Honey.
It was a great trip. I hope to stay there again in Sept when I'm coming back home. It is always nice to be able to put faces to trail names.
The fishing trip was a bust for me. I couldn't believe...
I plan to be there. I don't know if my knee will let me hike but I plan to get in some fishing. Do they allow dogs? Can you put a canoe in the lake?
Hanging in Colorado sounds like fun. Do you have any more openings?
Brian announced he is closing up shop to take a new job. He'll probably be kind of slow responding.
He needs to find a girlfriend with a business major to handle that end of the business so he can spend more time at the sewing table.
You'll be able to stealth camp at the circus
I got mine on Ebay.

Check out the local uniform shops. A local LEO should be able to direct you.
Brian's product is worth the wait.
If you have some for sale at the PA hang, please set a couple aside with my name on them.
Mine hit the post office last week. I'm not going to be home until Oct so either they will forward it with the rest of my mail or I'll have a friend pick it up. I won't know if I got the missing line...
He's doing great. A real inspiration. Doesn't use his sight as a crutch. He knows he has a problem and has learned to live with it. He's at Hiawassee Inn tonight headed for the bash in Franklin...
Can I drop in if in the area? I don't know where I'll be that weekend for sure.
He'll put them in the little box at the end of the driveway. Drive his carrier nuts
Pictures You promised pictures

Doesn't count as a failure if your butt doesn't hit the ground
Try an archery shop. They should have cut offs laying around the saw.
I don't care how long it takes. I won't be home until November any way.
When they become available not if they become available. I'd like a couple of these when production starts also.
