I just cooked biscuits outside and sausage gravy inside. It was great. Later, I'll sleep in the hammy in the backyard to get in a pre-group hang, hang done tonight.

As much as I will like to see you on Fri, is she still open to come if that forcasted temp drops? I will pull for some cold to come down if it will help.

I may not be the brightestest, but if you go with 6" UCR's you may need to bring back up line to get to the trees, or go with longer straps. :D

If your talking about 6' UCR's, then 25' will be...

I will have to bring a tarp and hoist it into the tallest tree :D

Slept in the hammy last 2 nights. It hit 37*F in backyard. The night before, it was upper 40's low 50's, but very strong winds.

The winds were strong enough to get forced into my UQ a few times...

Sounds like we have some fireside chat to keep us going. Olddog, it wasn't hot at all, but, a nice chill in the air. It was, dare I say, perfect.

Sorry you won't be here with us, but, it was great to meet you at the Florida Hang. There are a few hangs in Autumn also, for those that don't like the full heat of the Florida Sun.

Sometime in July, I hope, like last year. We just have to sweet talk FLRider into hosting it again. It was wonderful last year.

You would have loved the temp last time. The secret is in the topography. There was a chill in the air that felt great due to the constant breeze. No sweating at night.

It's always good to have one. Especially since you and Gumbo go on various camping trips.
