As a low body heat producer you should seek a good UQ fit... ie eliminate any air pocket... Also, I recommend that you change evening snacks from candy bars to hard cheese for the longer...

Something is not right...With the bottom insulation you are describing low 20s should be a given...Also what is the rating ,age and amount of past use of your top bag ?....How thick was...

You still need a better bottom insulation plan... then the open bag, a la quilt style, will be plenty warm... nice progress though...keep hanging.
