I even bought mine in St. Thomas which was tax and duty free and it still was really expensive. But, I needed a good camera while on the ship and didn't want to miss all the photo opportunities.

I have one and it is an amazing camera. AMAZING! I'm too scared to take it on overnights with me though, but if I went to Wind River, I may get over that fear. :D
