    70D Superflauge Nylon @ Rockywoods.com

Just found something fairly neat. 70D nylon, 55" wide, waterproofed, in a pattern called Superflauge. Search for product # 5983-10. The superflauge pattern isn't fantastic, but it beats 'woodland...

    Universal Digital Camo Source

Thanks FF for the source. :) I've been toying with the idea of buying a cheap NeoTarp until I acquire the skills to make my own Blackcat. That woodland camo from Denver Fabrics would match...

    De-railing Threads

I seem to have a way of de-railing perfectly good hammocking threads.

I wish I had your ears folks. Even I can tell the difference between good recordings and most MP3 files, but I can't...

    Thanks Y'all !

Thanks for all the help everyone! Why aren't all the people I work with 1/2 as friendly as the folks on the hiker forums? The week would go a lot smoother. . . . . . .

    I fear we've drifted off...

    2 x 2's

I remember seeing those now. Hey, give it a try and report back to us. If wood that small DOES work that would certainly open up some possibilities for a wooden Anchor Hammock style DIY'er! :)

    Stake size

I'm only guessing, but I'd think a 2 x 2 would be too small. I'm trying to think of tubular metal answers but not getting far. I like the design of the Anchor or the 'Magic Hammock'.

    D.I.Y. question

I'd LOVE to make a DIY version for car camping in Oz, suitable tree pairs are scarce on the plains, ;) but I'll be dog-gone if I can think of a way to replicate the function of the little V shaped...
