No draft collars on mine.
When I tighten the suspension quilt wraps around my shoulders nicely. I'm expecting it will be enough for mild temperatures.

I hear you about that.
Web design isn't a strong side for hammock gear makers, but they make it up with great products and customer care many times over.
It should be: 5 OZ 850+ FP IDFB...

Thanks for the video, Paul.
That Top Quilt sure looks fluffy. :D
Here are some more pictures of my 3/4 UQ.

I'm reporting about the quilt I've chosen. Maybe it will be helpful to someone.
It turned out to be an easy choice for me. I was approached by Paul, of UndergroundQuilts, with a fair offer and a...
My 3/4 UQ came today.
Great bit of kit.

I have a different method of traveling where weight isn't a huge concern.
I'm certainly not a gram weenie, but maybe a kilo-gram weenie.
With that said, I always carry a bag of about 15kg of...

That fella deserves an Under and Top Quilt.
Don't forget the tarp and all the built-in stuff.
WBBB, Superfly tarp and a bit of (necessary) cord and accessories cost the same or even more.
So I guess that makes it 'competitively priced',...
But can you use it on the train?

Member Team FTB is in Thailand, and he roams trough the jungles, so maybe he can help you.
How very Swiss. :D
When I was planing to get a camp-kit (tent, etc.) a year ago, I made a limit of 200e/300$.
Then I found this place and following happened:
Hammock: 170$
Tarp: 130$
Oh, I get it.
You have a PeaPod with a wide mouth. :D
Enormous begins to describe it.
I'd like to see that around a hammock.
My problem is that I can rationalize pretty much anything to myself and then live on bread and water until I can afford it. :D
Weight isn't a great concern for gear I use, but durability and...
I've chosen one of UnderGround Quilts from Paul.
He's making me 40*, 3/4, 55Lx45W UQ.
Should be here in about a month.
Stay tuned. :)
This could still be the pre-production model like the one FourDog used in his videos. A few more conformations would be nice.
Here is the source from another forum:...
I've read one report saying that it is too short.
Guy says he is 5'8'' and that he'll return it.
Good that someone is taking it.
It's way out of my price range. :)
HoibeCat,
Did you buy it from Knivesshipfree.com. Any experience with them?
I found them trough google and their prices are...
Let's wait and see how the guy from UKhammocks modifies the WallCreeper.
I find the cord that chinches the hood too weak to hold the bag in PeaPod position.
I'd be happy with a solid closure...
Superfly tarps is about twice as big when packed inside snake skins compared to folded nicely. A lot of air gets trapped when tarp is rolled up.
It's still a lot more convenient with the snake skins.
Cheers for the input fellas.
2/3 may just do it for me.
I have a strong favorite in mind and I'll report with the winner in a few weeks.
Warning: this is another 'witch UQ should I choose' topic.
I have a few months to choose my first UQ and I would like to hear everyone's suggestions. I browsed trough entire UQ sub-forum and...
I have a serious hammock envy right now.
It doesn't help that I'm an Exped fanboy already.
You just brought cocaine to the drug rehab assembly. Shame on you. :D
That's a very nice pitch when you have time and rope to play with.
Panel pullouts are nice to have but I don't find them necessary even when the tarp is pitched close to the hammock.
Cheers.
I've been plugging Exped Wallcreepr/Dreamwalker so much that someone will think I work for them.
It really is the most hammock-friendly and versatile sleeping bag that I've seen.
...
That sounds great.
Don't forget to post some pictures when you get it back.
My mother does a bit of sewing, but when I consulted her about making a cinch cord around the shoulders (like on the...
Cheers for the tip.
I'll keep my eye out for this one.
If one of his under-quilts goes on 40% sale I'd be interested. Especially if he can knock down 20% more on VAT deduction for us foreigners.
I think, there is a little to be gained with that.
In my few attempts with Exped pea pod, I stuffed the hood back into the bag for slightly more insulation and so it wouldn't dangle.
Advantage...
Ya'll need to put engines in those bike frames. :shades:
Regarding international shipping,
Once I added how much money I spent on shipping over two years and I nearly cried.
On the other hand, I learned to live with it. Nearly all of the things I buy...
That is perhaps the prettiest quilt out there.
It goes so well with that hammock.
I have to ask, what is the cost to make this? (without the labor)
I (for now) don't see the need for continuos ridgeline for the SuperFly.
Set up is very easy and everything stays firm and in place.
This is your one-stop-shop for tarp accessories:...
Hey Wim,
I was in the same situation as you not long ago.
I never even seen a hammock before, but I really liked the concept and with all the enthusiasm from users and Shug's videos - I had to...
Cheers Medicine Man.
That's a serious winter set-up in the first video.
Do you have issues with condensation?
Wallcreeper is quite large when packed (reasonably compressed) and I imagine the...
Bag is quite roomy so it allows any sort of lay. No issue with diagonal lay.
This is a 400L model and it weighs at around 1150g. Rated: Upper Limit: 19, Comfort: 8, Limit: 3.
Good point...
This has been mentioned some time ago but here it is one more time with some pictures.
A marriage between WBBB and an Exped Wallcreeper (new name is Dreamwalker) sleeping bag and their love child...
So, are you guys saying that ridge line being very tight is not a problem?
I also had the same issue as Ewhammock with my BB.
I can achieve recommended sag in the ridge line, but then I'm very...
Nice location.
I know one that is exactly the same on the other side of the world. I've been meaning to hang there soon.
Isn't the ridge line too stressed in that position?
Cheers.
Cheers for the effort, Shug.
I'd like to add, based on my single hang experience, that Exped Dreamwalker sleeping bag works very well with the hammock....
Well, exactly there. :)

I'm not very close to Greece, but I'm on the Adriatic coast and it's a similar barren landscapes.
Kind of like this:

I got mine today, even when it said late December for ETA.
Browsing trough it now and I like it.
I look forward to passing it to someone interested in hammocks.
Cheers fellas.
Thank you for the welcome.
I guess a formal introduction is in order.
Hello to all from a hilly bit of land in South-East Europe.
I've been lurking here since this summer and gobbling on the knowledge, but tonight my gear...
I just placed my order and looking forward to it.
It seems it won't be here before December but reasonable shipping cost.
Thanks for the discount.
Cheers.
Cheers for that.
I had a suspicion ridgeline and pull-out cords weren't included but that isn't specified anywhere.
What about WBBB? Can that be used out of the box?
I'll wait until I see for...
I just got my notice.
I ordered late July.
Now at least 3-4 weeks to get here.
