Had a blast, it was my first hang. Thanks to Rev for the quick pointers on my setup. A huge thank you to all the crew for the amazing time of fellowship. This is going down in my books, already...
Secured my Wilderness Logics TQ and UQ for the Fall Sprawl, can't wait. Already have my gear all piled up and ready to be packed out. :)
I'm still a go for the Fall Sprawl, but please everyone keep your fingers crossed because work has been really crazy at the plant as far as hours. I put in the vacation request and it technically has...
Welcome from West Columbia, SC!!!
Absolutely, I went from a 40lb pack to a 26lb pack, almost immediately
I have the BIAS Buginator and LOVE IT!
Just ordered mine, and the code worked!!! Good looking out everyone! I got the Alpine Green - Regular.
Dutch Stingerz are perfect for hanging tarps, I love mine. I find them easier then the flyz
http://dutchwaregear.com/stingers.html
If someone would please PM the details on this location I would greatly appreciate it, and the times location site, people are showing up, I might be able to make this one
+100000000 oin the Dutchware Stingerz and lash it, best way IMHO
I don't spray my tarp
I treat everything (shorts, socks, hat, bandanna, pants, pillow, bugnet, hammock, pack) I use Sawyer Permethrin, usually dries in about 1-2 hrs, I hang in my garage and open all the doors for cross...
ULA makes a great pack, however I've gone back to Osprey, my current fav. is the Talon 44, extremely comfortable and light weight, excellent customer service.
Whoopie Slings mod for an ENO, problem solved and more adjustable. Can't beat em
I'm a gram counter myself, getting your pack weight down to 30lbs is great, is that with food and water? or just base? I can help, plus check out my YouTube Channel I do gear reviews, might be of...
Very kewl video bro
I don't have the hammock, but my bugnet is from BIAS and it's top notch, buginator. Saved my butt big time this weekend. Wouldn't buy any other.
Looks good, I like it :thumbup1:
Don't forget to stop by Dutchware and get some Stingerz, I just got some for my tarp and love em'
+1 on the Wilderness Logics pillow, I also use a Therma-rest pillow they coming three sizes and compress and roll up very nicely.
That's why I use Black Diamond climbing biners, and Dutch biners too :)
What color?
Many prayers sent, I was fortunate to have conversed with Eagle Eye last week about my order, my Stingerz with lash-it are perfect and a work of art. He took really good care of me, I had no idea of...
I guess I was lucky, first night in mine I was out in...ZZZZzzzzzzz
Yup that fast, wife even took a video of me snoring, now she has proof I actually snore.
Okay so I got my info from here on HF and first let me start off by saying I have a new house.
I know that one of my walls is an exterior wall which has plywood attached and my studs (2x4) have...
Thanks bro :thumbup1:
Okay so I have pretty much the same question. I have an adjustable structural ridgeline coming from Dutch. I have a WL-LiteOwl which is 11'. So I should start my SR at 112.2 inches? then adjust from...
Good to know about the Potomac fitting the Lite Owl, I'm currently in the market for an UQ, would you all recommend the Potomac over another UQ?
I just ordered a BIAS Buginator, I really like the construction of it and the cinch closure on the ends and entry vs a zipper entry.
I didn't even think of hanging everything at once and just doing one spray. Great idea. I should easily be able to do this in my garage. Thanks
I looked at several nets, and yes the WB was one of them. I liked the cinch closure with shock cord and cord lock better than a zipper entry, personal preference I guess. I'm not a big zipper fan.
So, I got home today from work and decided to pick two trees on the corner of my property line, they were kinda far apart but with the tree huggers, whoopie slings and 12" dog bones, I was able to...
Have you noticed any bending of the 4x4s? I was interested in doing something very similar, but read on a thread someone had broke a 4x4 post...
How long have you had this setup installed and I...
Thanks, slept in it last night...was out COLD :thumbup1:
picture please?
Here are the items I used from Home Depot. Don't forget to pick up the right ph#3 bit for the screws.

Wow! All these stands look great! I now know what my next project it.
Screws came separate. I chose the Spax due to other threads on forums and a contractor friend.
$8 total cost
Nice War room, reminds me of mine. Happy hanging :D
Thanks, Prior service here, 6 yrs Army
Thanks, I think so too
I emailed them a week ago and they said two week turnaround
$8 brother, and a trip to home depot. The biners I already had on hand, but yeah it's pretty cool, probably gonna sleep in the hammy tonight, might as well
Oh I am sooooo in on this one, gonna request vacation. Plus it's my birthday weekend, how fun
You're most welcome, I searched around and found another thread with the bracket info on HF, they work great and at $4.97 you can't beat it. The whole setup cost me $8.
Well, I got tired of not being able to camp all the time and decided to hang my hammock in my spare room (aka the ManCave).
The corner to corner is exactly 13.5', I placed the brackets at 71"...
I just picked up an ENO gear slinger, mini hammock for your gear, I admit I haven't tried it yet but I like the concept and it's only $29, and 7oz.
OMG!!! #nuffsaid
Welcome from South Carolina
Nicely done videos, looks like a great time. A man with his dog on a trail, hard to beat that.
