Get the 20 with some overstuff. Maybe try to get the temp rating down to 10 or so, A little added insurance and peace of mind.

Im new too hammock camping and on a buget.

I agree with freakfx. I would rather vent excess heat then trying to figure
Out how to keep warm on a cold night. To me the zero temp quilt will keep me hanging happy and warm all winter.
