Hey, this stuff looks interesting. Right now they seem to have "Thin 40" and "Thin 150" - would either of those be similar to what you recommended in terms of amount of insulation provided?

I think for me the main thing might be that my skin isn't touching it.
I get clammy sometimes too with IX. I've yet to figure out what conditions lead to it happening sometimes and not others.
Nice, any idea where I might get a similar material? I'm a big fan of wool...
Also, with Insultex, would it be better to put the extra layer above or below the IX? Like next to my skin, or the IX...
