Have you considered accepting Bitcoin? Much lower transaction/admin fees and a benefit for overseas customers/suppliers because no one loses out on exchange rates.
As an Australian hammocker I can testify you won't have a problem (except in the desert regions).
Thanks Cogneato,
I'll send him a note,
Cheers..!
Thanks Mangus,
I'll send a note to those guys.

Itching to get out on the next one! Any thoughts for the next venue? Maybe 8/9th Oct or 15/16th Oct?
Hi Everyone,
I might just make this one after all.....I'll see how things are as the week goes by.....
Welcome SydneyWizard, good to see another Hennessy Hanger, hopefully you'll be able to...
Great photos guys!
Personally, I'm a Hennessy Man.
I've laid in both. Remarkably similar, once you've found the sweet spot.
However, I much prefer the ease of set up with the Hennessy Hammocks. No fiddle...
Hi all, and welcome Dreadbyte!
Been travelling up and down the country this week, so couldn't get back to you earlier Marwood. In the midst of planning a trip further down south when you posted...
Yeah, cheers guys.
I'm really happy with where I'm at with this set up. Although, I've just ordered a Warbonnet Edge Tarp to replace my stock Hennessy Asym Tarp! It's practically the same weight...
Hello Mate! Keep you eye out on the forums for hangs in the Sydney area!
Hi, fellow HH Hangers,
Just a quick post from Down-Under and a testimonial to the Te-Wa Breeze 'Summer' Under Quilt. I used this UQ for the first time on my new HH Hyperlite last weekend and I'm...
We missed not having you there mate, especially as you deserve the credit for posting the event in the first place. I trust it was nothing serious and all is well.
Yes, the Te-Wa UQ fit my new HH...

Any orders for the Booze Boat? ;-)
Hi Mate. Speaking on behalf of Phrayzar and myself. We're both still in (Barring a Monsoon). We're planning on arriving by Canoe. See you there!
I'm up for that! :D
'Cool' trip report! Great photos & thanks for sharing. Go the Crocs......!
Hi BillyBob, appreciate your advice.
Yes, it's the Zip model. I have Te-Wa summer UQ on order.
I'm 5' 9" & 175 lbs so I'm well within the Hyperlights load capacity. I've experienced rain while...
Thanks Chris, very helpful and certainly food for thought!
1) It's a partial length UQ, so I'll experiment with/without Thingies. To be honest I was more concerned over the A-Sym shape of the...
Hi All,
Searched the threads (Briefly) and couldn't find much about the below subjects.
a) UnderQuilts - I've been using a foam sleeping mat inside my Expedition until recently, however I...
Ok, just a quick update. After several emails between Hennessy and myself, Hennessy insisted they couldn't do anything about the shipping costs. However, they agreed to drop $20 from the purchase...
Great Vid! Might give that track a go...
Now that's a bloody good idea!
I've been looking at a couple of items on REI (Their shipping costs to Oz are high as well), wonder if they'll ship to Bongous?
Amazon international is always...
Excellent idea Rikall. Think I'll do the same. Have you used the service yet and did the stuff arrive ok? Most of the high value hiking items I've purchased (Hammocks, Packs, Titanium Pots, Stoves)...

Just a last minute note...
Bateman & I will be at Mt Kuring-Gai Station just prior to Midday. I haven't been there before, but I'll find a convenient spot as near to the station as I can. (White...
I hear you Marwood, I just needed to vent some steam! ;)
I'll be slipping a sip of Red wine in my pack this weekend to assist fireside discussions on the virtues of retail vs webtail!
Hi Marwood,
They've got the Ultralight backpacker model in Trek and Travel in Sydney for the same cash figure (AUD$199) as on the Hennessy Website (USD$199). But obviously I'd save on shipping....
Just a quick FYI to any other Australians out there considering ordering a Hennessy directly from their on-line store.
I've been the happy owner of a Hennessy Expedition (Which I purchased, brand...
Good to see an Aussie Knocking out some gear!
Wow, practically half the weight of the stock Hyperlite! Thanks Rook!
Trying to track down some Cuben fiber....
I've googled 'Cuben Fiber' and keep coming up against the 'NorthSails' website. Tried ebay, but no luck.
Anyone know where I can actually buy enough of...
Hi All,
I'm going to suggest we meet at Mt Kuring-Gai at 12pm (Assuming no objections?). If someone can pick up Pig. Slayer from his car point at crosslands and bring him along, then he's only got...
Looks like it's going to be a great weekend to meet up with other Sydney Hammockers!
I live a couple of hours South of Berowra so I'm happy to pick Bateman up on the way through @ 10am to get to...
I'm in mate! No preference on which way we head in, if there's a more scenic one I'm happy to give that a go!
What's parking like? I may bring the Bike or Car depending on the weather....
