I started years ago with a HH. Back then the only way you could use the Hennessy as a chair was to fold it back on itself.
Did not make a good lounger but as a chair it wasn't bad except for laying...
I don't know what kind of hammock you have, but the perfect solution for you it seems to me is to get a WBBB.
Just put it in the foot box next to your other leg. That way it stays nice and dry...
