I'll bring mine out. Actually I will be bringing out a bunch of Dream Hammocks for a video shoot.
Info is on Facebook and the other forum

It is a shame when a giant in the hammock cottage industry has to actively undercut his competition. In this case, Dutch is actively undercutting Dream Hammock. Dutch's latest DIY instructions are an...
Based on my experience.. I generally don't need the net when I am using quilts. At my last hang, I used the net anyway and had no issues.
I might be wrong, but I believe they are only available in white now.
The weather is calling for rain Sun, Mon, Tues, and Wednesday.....we can still hope.
Correct me if I am wrong Randy, but there will be 2 of them on display at the Texas Fall Hang, Nov 10-13.
you dont need to seam seal them. I have been in almost hurricane force winds with a torrential downpour ( and a tornado warning in the area) and had no problem staying dry. Just put the doors down,...
12 ft, MARPAT, no components
Fantastic! Thanks for the detailed video. I had tried to make a bridge for my dog and used some similar ideas, but yours has come out much better than my attempts.
any chance you could shoot a video showing more detail of the suspension you used and how the spreader bars interface with the hammock?
We allow Spam, but only the kind that comes in a can or foil package. I don't like some of the new flavors they are coming out with, but the more the merrier I guess.
The deep purple reminds me more of an eggplant color.
The difference is in the way they zip.
The T-bird has 2 zippers, one on each side that UNZIP from the head to the feet. If you want to remove the zipper in the middle of the night to make a tree...
in before the ban!
second on the hammock if 1st falls through
I have a SL Robic Sparrow and a SL Robic Freebird. I weigh about 250 and have spent over 30+ nights in each of them with no ill effect, BUT I take very good care of my gear. I never lay in a hammock...
We here in Texas got tired of the people up north talking about hanging when it is in the single digits and how rough it is, so we stepped it up. This is the 5th year of tempting fate by hanging in...
A freebird is a great option. Add a Fronkey Style bug net (Dream Hammock sells them also) and you are good to go.
The peak shelf is a great option, I have it on all but one of my DH hammocks (my...
Well, am am 5'11" and have never had a problem reaching items in my peak shelf
LOL, they edited your link, That is freaking classic.
Like all lighter fabrics, the Robic does have some initial stretch, but it is less than other similar weight fabrics (like 1.0 HyperD or Dutch's Hexon 1.0). It is a durable fabric and I wouldn't...
+1 on Camp Nano 22's. I prefer a good carabiner because it has multiple uses and the Nanos are climbing rated. I have seen and heard of too many straps getting torn/pierced from Dutch Clips, most...
If weight saving is an issue, I know Randy will tell you that Robic is fine at 265#, as he has tested it at that weight. I am 240 and the Robic is awesome, very light weight, has a good feel, and is...
follow the link and then follow the link there and sign up. Has to be that way because this forum is apparently afraid of another forum.
info is here.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/TexasHammockHangers/permalink/999962103402471/
The 1.0 Robic is about the same stretchiness as 1.6 HyperD, but i think the Robic has a better feel to it.
Here is my opinion based on multiple hammocks of varying widths.
No wider than 65 if you plan to use quilts. Everything over that and you have a ton of excess fabric all over the place. 65 and...

In it's UGQ quilt storage...
Standard length and width (78x44)
Fill weight 12oz, total weight 22oz
Woodland camo outer
Charcoal interior
850 fill treated goose down
Washed less than a month ago (loft is insane now) and...
Paul, my wife said she hates you. On the other hand, I still love you. :)
As a channel end hammock, the DH hammocks are incredible easy to swap suspensions out. I recommend you larkshead the new suspension to the old and just pull the new through, undo the larkshead, and...
Well. I have 1 DL Tbird, 2 SL tbirds, and 2 SL sparrows so i hope i can answer your questions.
1) With the strength of the new fabrics available, the are only 2 reasons now to go for a DL...
Need Robic in ATACs
You better delete Shug's post, he linked to a post from Sarge. Only fair, right?
MOds removed my post because it linked to a Youtube video by Sarge? Nazi much?
most of the trip reports and photos are on the texas hammock hanger FB page, and on another forum who's name I can't mention.
Haven't seen ya in a while, nice to see you are still around spreading the Gospel of the Chicken Wing.
McKinney Falls, SE of Austin is a great little State Park and they were very welcoming to hammock for our Frozen Butt Hang last January.
Think that might be mine
Verizon works out there if the weather cooperates. If you have a ham/frs/gmrs/murs radio, bring it along.
Mike, can I pay you directly this weekend or do I needs to send funds to the crazy Oklahoman?
in before i get banned again
Just finished a 12 ft Dark Olive XL hammock the other night. Still need to add some bling to it (UQ hooks and storage) but an afternoon test nap went perfectly.
Thats what I am going to be doing. Pack Wednesday.... drive across town to Lackland AFB for some toys (maybe), Thursday early am...drive home pick up Faith and the inevitable stuff i forgot to pack...
We can throw the trash in the back of my truck, not a problem. I think the Hueys are bringing a chem toilet, I might purchase and bring one also.
I will be bringing along at least one canine pack mule, maybe a second depending on how the new puppy does over the next few weeks.
yeah, i noticed the multicam WD you made me was almost a foot wider than the Blaze orange one you made me. Not complaining, just saying.
a continuous ridgeline makes it easier to center the tarp over your hammock. I have used both a continuous and non-continuous, and prefer the continuous.
