It was great, my first multi night trip in snowy conditions. I had Gaia gps on my phone but never had to use it. The trail up to Dewy Point was traveled with a couple in of fresh snow and the rest...

It was awesome!! And also my first multi night winter trip. Thanks to HF for all the winter trip advice I was never cold and well prepared..

A new low temp record at-1*!! Started at Badger Creek Ski resort snowshoed 5 miles up to Dewy Point overlooking Yosemite...

And just in time for my review of the first Chevron Baffle Carolina Reaper UQ!! Got down to -1 on Thursday night on my winter trip to Yosemite!

Depending on you investment level, car camping or back country backpacking there are UQ & TQ AT MANY price points. I live in SoCal as well and a 20 degree UQ and TQ are my go to for insulation.. if...

Pups like being close... just worry about temps below freezing if the mat and jackets will be enough to keep them warm

I've had no issues with the netting with the tarp on. The wide door and two zippers on the opening are easy enough to work while in the hammock.

My only issue was I had a little netting...
