Dutch I really think you're trying to get me kicked out of my house. I order another hammock and the wife is gonna kill me.

At least you will have a nice soft place to stay.

Now Dutch that's just playing dirty.
You ought to change your credit card machine look like a jewelry store. Then when all our wives are asking why we keep spending all this money on "Dutch's Bling," we can respond honestly its pretty jewelry for a surprise for them.

I have hung in the polyD hammock a few nights and I really like it. It felt a little narrow at first but a few tweaks of the SRL I added and now it is awesome. Speedhooks make it a fast and lightweight option. Total package with suspension weighed 14.2 ozs.
I have a decent number of hammocks (up to 7 now), but don't have many netless ones. Probably the closest I can compare to this one is my trusty old doublenest, and besides the obvious and expected weight savings (which I'm not extremely concerned about), is that I was really pleased to find out how small this thing can compress down to. This may be similar with the dutch argon or other lightweight options out there, but it is probably half the volume of the ENO doublenest when packed. I haven't used the poly d yet but I am already gonna be packing this in my space-limited lumbar pack for short hikes as long as the bugs aren't out.
Just looked this up on the website. Is the 10ft PolyD 1.4 hammock in Charcoal Grey not an option anymore?
I've had a few nights in the purple PolyD 1.4 hammock and this is the most comfy hammock I've ever had. I am thoroughly impressed.
One question: What's up with the huge 1/2 inch side hems (maybe bigger)? I've never seen hems that big on any hammock. Seems like you could cut them down and the hammock would be wider.

The reason why I asked is because I saw the fabric option in your DIY Stuff section. I vaguely remember seeing it also in the thread you started to introduce the new PolyD hammocks a couple months ago. Maybe it was just wishful thinking
