    seam seal fly

sorry if this does not go here and I know there was a thread about it but can not find it now and have a camp out this weekend with boy scout troop.
I have a Typhoon fly and am wondering if I should seal the ridge on it before I head out this weekend or is it good to go from the factory?

    Should be good to go.

I was working on getting some Hammock stands done to use this weekend and as I was making adjustments to get my tarp on I rolled it over and took a very close look at it.

There is a kind of clear tape run down the under side of the ridge and around where the blast doors clip into the top at ridge line.

So no problems with leaking there at all and that is good they are calling for rain this weekend.

Plus everyone in the troop is using tents this weekend but me, I not going to the ground unless there is just no other way left for me to be out in the woods.
