In the market for a new hammock

My hammock was stolen from me about 2 months ago had a double layer bias micro weenie with the knotty mod I think it was called. I've been using my old eno and a bias camper I bought for my mom. My question is what are some of your favorite hammocks. It's been a while since I was active on this site so although I absolutely loved my micro weenie not sure if there's anything new out there or maybe something I missed that I should look into. Price is a issue since things are tight and have to replace a few things that were in my bag when it was stolen but if I find something I like I may hold out for a bit till I can afford it thankyou in advanced

Dutch is now selling hammocks in 1.4 oz. PolyD and 1.6 Argon. Check it out.

In the market for a new hammock

I second SilvrSurfr. I just got my Dutch hammock in the mail today. It's a great deal, for a great hammock. And, made by the Dutch himself.

I set it up with suspension, which I had most of, and went for a test hang. It's definitely a comfy hammock. I have to find the sweet spot though since it is nearly 2 ft longer than the longest hammock I've slept in.

I'll leave suggestions to the more wrinkled brains than mine, but really sorry to hear about the theft. That's low.

There are lots of great choices, but Dutch's offer is probably one of the most competitive. I haven't seen any of his hammocks (only did some DIY out of Argon and am waiting for a delivery of PolyD), but everything I got off Dutch so far has been excellent.

One hammock that I have read a lot of good things about, but haven't had the pleasure to use, yet, is the SLD Streamliner. The website is a bit confusing, though. All SLD hammocks come in a choice of single or double layer as well as different lengths and fabric weights.

Of course you could also stick with BIAS. You already know you love their hammocks, which is a big advantage. But of course, the grass is always greener on the other side

Eno double nest is serving me well... but it is a bit pricey for the quality. I'd suggest dutch's hammocks. He is a boss

what is your budget? Is the weenie still an option, or is it a bit too pricey? I think with the mod it comes in at about $75? If so, you can swing the DWG hammock, complete with whoopie hook suspension for about the same price. To add that suspension to the weenie, I think you're looking at closer to $90?

Since you kind of have some experience, you may be interested in something that can be customized, and still relatively inexpensive...

I used an eno double nest for the past year but I just got my hands on a Warbonnet Traveler and I couldn't be happier! Great hammock plus whoopie suspension system is awesome!
