Considering a 2 nighter on the canoe trail. Does anyone know if the primitive sites are hammock friendly. specifically Little River and Riverbend campsites?

Bumping for you
'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
I haven't camped at Riverbend but I did help with the early stages of building it. You would be okay in a hammock there.
I have paddled past Little River but I didn't get out and look at it. Having said that, there are a lot of trees there so I think you would be okay.
These sites are really in farm land with trees lining the river banks. The river is easy going and pleasant. The campsites are fine but to me they are really places to stop for the night rather than places to hang out at for a long time (no pun intended).
I'm not a facebooker but I'm sure you'd get a quick response if you posted on the river alliance's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FrenchBroadRiverPaddleTrail
Thanks! We had a little "issue" that pushed back our trip. Will have to try again!
Would that issue be a river at 5 times its normal flow? Watch the stream gauges....French Broad can rise rather quickly.
