    Saying HI. Philly suburbs

New member here. Just wanted to say HI to everybody. Getting back into this after a long break. And looking forward to new trips. Usually go solo, but if you need a friend don't hesitate to let me know, I am always packed and ready..... backpacking, fishing, kayaking, camping.... just to get out of the house for a weekend

Welcome from the Jersey Shore. There's a fairly active group of folks around here so keep an eye out in the Northeast Trip Planning section. There's a hang at Stokes State Forest in a couple of weeks:

Oh, and I'm looking for somebody who wants to hike the Batona Trail (53 miles) in two nights/three days, sometime this month. PM me if you're interested!

Welcome, I'm in White Plains these days but used to live in Philly. I'll echo what SS said, there's a fairly active contingent of hangers, hikers & fishermen here. Group hangs are a great way to meet people to do stuff with, hope to see you out at one.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

Hi Surf! Sounds a little intimidating for me. I've gone on daily hikes on some of those trails, and let me tell you, it ain't that easy, to tell you the truth I was straggling. Need to get in a better shape for now, don't want to hold you back but sounds very interesting for the future.
