    How to for tarp hanging

Anybody got suggestions on how to resources for hanging tarps in various, cold, windy, wet conditions? I've been experimenting with my Superfly since receiving it 6 weeks ago as my first lightweight tarp (combining that with my first hammock, Blackbird XLC).
I set up my equipment last night in the backyard since it was forecast to rain, which it did in bundles. I needed to adjust tension and location of my tie offs during the evening but remained dry all night.

Last weekend I did an overnight in the Blue Ridge setting up near an AT shelter on a sloping campsite surrounding by rocks, small bushes and wind gusts to 25 mph. This proved to have different challenges but was a good learning experience.

Previously, I've set up 4-5 times in different locations in my backyard.

I've learned a great deal from this forum and other online content, made me wonder if there was a good resource or two that I could reference now that I've done enough to understand the narrative. I've studied Brandon's Warbonnet videos carefully finding them helpful but I'm at the point to want more info. Would appreciate the advice.

Thanks Shug. I'll dig into these.

I've been using porch mode mostly but last night in the rain decided to lower one side of the porch to let the rain run off. It worked, but this morning determined that I need to ask advice from experienced folks rather than experiment. Don't want to make a mistake in actual conditions, particularly wet and cold when I'm a long ways from things. Appreciate your help.

Your videos are great! I've learned a great deal from them. I saw an orange mushroom on a tree stump beside the AT last weekend that was stunning. Remembered seeing similar ones in one of your videos.

You'd mentioned heading to Linville shortly to meet up with Hickery. Hope that trip is super.

Shug's videos are required watching for any new member. You must past a test afterwards to learn the handshake.

In addition to the numerous posts on the subject here on the forum, and Shug's great videos, Derek Hansen (known as dehoja here) has some useful tarp hanging information on his website The Ultimate Hang.

Here is a continuous ridgeline post on his site that has useful pictures which makes following along easy.
