    2 questions though;

    1. Should I bring my canoe?
    2. Does anyone who's coming have a spare Underquilt I might be able to borrow for the trip? I'm fairly new to hammock-camping and may not have acquired one of my own by then.

    Also, I may be able to contribute firewood, there's a dead Dogwood in my back yard that I need to take down.
    A free canoe is better than no canoe.

    YES! For sure! I am bringing my Kayak and plan to take a small lunch time trip Saturday the 10th.

    I sure don't have an extra one, but you would do just fine sleeping with a pad. Walmart $10 or Army surplus $5. Or I could let you borrow one of mine to see if you like it.

    Everyone feel free to bring as much firewood as you can! Weather permitting we will have a fire Friday and Saturday night.

    We are looking forward to seeing new faces!

    Here is a link to some Pictures of our last Congaree Swamp Hang.
    If I decide not to thru hike the SNP that week, we will be there. Thank you again for the invite. The pictures were great. Looks like you guys had alot of fun! The campsite looks like a perfect place for hammocks.

    You'll probably be fine with just a CCF pad. Since I have a few of them, I'll bring them along with me and you're welcome to use one.

    Relax, monsters under the hammock are easily distracted by twister-playing squirrels.

    Thank you sir.

    I'm going to try and convert an old, beat-up sleeping bag into an underquilt, so hopefully I won't need it, but if my experiment doesn't quite go as planned then the CCF pads may become necessary.
