Thread reccomendations

What type of thread should I use for polyestepolyester webbing? How about for sil nylon?

Good quality polyester thread like Gutermann thread.

There are choices for less quality. If you go that route, look for polyester sheath with a polyester core.

Yep, use a quality 100% polyester thread.

Mettler Metrosene Plus and Gutermann Sew All are two that are frequently available locally. They are great for quilts and can be used for tarps and webbing. Webbing will require more stitches than a stronger thread.

Many of us prefer the stronger Gutermann Mara 70 as an 'all around thread' and the stronger yet Gutermann Tera 40 is great for tree straps.

I got some Tera after that, although not Tera 40, but 60 and 80. Haven't had the chance to sew up a hammock, though.
