I really like the idea of a single point for each side. Apologies if covered elsewhere...
I'm working my way from Hammock out and have chosen to add a ridgeline to my bridge.
I had the two doglegs for the bridge and the fixed ridge line eye coming together at a 3" continuous loop, but that looked a bit kinky and unsafe with too much inappropriate rope on rope action. So I gave the naughty ropes a rubber. Just some 1/4"ID hydration tube, about 3/4" long. Lash it is just to keep the loops on the tube when hammock is not hung.

The goal is to have a single attachment point that is super easy, likely integrating a Dutch Whoopie hook from the tree side to hook onto the continuous loop.
Is there a better way to do this?
Safer, easier, lighter? In that order.
Any help/advice appreciated.
So far- the 1.0 Hyper D bridge was a nice sleep last night- I removed my washers from this model, dropped down to dynaglide all the way through and continuous loop to continuous loop I'm at bridge with cord.jpeg
122g- poles weigh 114g- Body still needs endcaps.
Still need to settle on a tree strap and UCR or Whoopie system...
