Hello from Illinois, great rig, very inspiring DIY
Thanks for the welcome, everyone
I can assure you my projects look better from afar than up close; I'm getting the hang of it though! Generally by the time I get about half way through a project my sewing starts to look a lot better. So depending on which side of my gear you're standing on, it may look better than the other side xD
I'm trying to get up to the group hang next month!

Howdy from Paris, TX.
Where is Dayton anyway, I've heard of it.
Welcome... I'm new to the forum as well. Have really enjoyed joining after lurking a while myself. Good folks here.
It's east of Houston and west of Beaumont. Pretty much in the middle. Thanks!

Hello from Corpus Christi.
Ever spend time on the Lone Star Hiking Trail?

Welcome to the forum. You must be not too far from Livingston, Tx then. If I was in town I'd offer you a lift to the hang in Nov but I won't be able to get back there in time. Had to cancel my reservation at the park. Maybe next time. I hope you are able to get a lift from someone, it's going to be a great time.
I've hiked parts of it twice. I'd like to do a thru hike if I could find someone to do it with me. The friends I hike with now aren't really capable of doing close to 20 miles a day for 5 days straight. I've done some of it solo but I think it's more enjoyable with others.
