Yeah, the HF Terms of Service (TOS) states:
"A. You must have a minimum of 50 posts before starting a new For Sale thread. Bypassing this rule by posting rapidly to raise your post count is not allowed, and will result in loss of access to the Marketplace forums. There is no minimum for posting in the 'Want To Buy (WTB)' subforum."
A surprising number of people read the TOS and still try to run up post count under the assumption they won't get caught.

Don't spam a lot of posts just to bring the count up.
Just spend a lot of time on the forum learning, seeing what interests you and adding to a conversation or asking questions on specific topics that you need help with. The post count will automatically go up without much thought. Just a week or so.
