    Thunderbird is #1

The Thunderbird may be the best hammock made! I have had or have tried I think every hammock known to man and as far as a gathered end. It has the smartest of all designs. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of great hammocks made but for all round versatility and comfort I'm rating the Thunderbird #1. Good Job PS your workmanship is spot on.

Did you ever try a Clark NX 250? I'm wondering what the comfort difference is between that and the Thunderbird? Can anyone give a comparison?

So Dudorino, Here is my opinion. They are both comfy. They both open up for roominess the Thunderbird has pulls out the Clark has spreader poles. The pockets on the Clark for insulation are a good emergency idea but I carry an under quilt. The use of a UQ on the Clark with the spreader bars seems to hurt the under quilts warmth. I personally never use the pullouts on any hammock and I have noticed the warmth increase of the UQ because of it. The big one for me is weight Im a backpacker and the Clark is husky. The nice thing about the Thunderbird is the net and over cover are interchangeable so you take what you need for the season saving on carrying unnecessary weight. I had a WBBB with a Bear Burrito Oven and hated that I was carrying a net in the middle of winter. So carrying less weight is more comfortable while hiking. So my vote is for the Thunderbird.
