    1st DIY double layer with pad sleeve.

    Just finished this one. It's my first attempt at a double layer hammock. The pics show the sleeve opening along the long axis of the hammock. I inserted my thermarest pad for a test. I plan to use this hammock for colder temps this fall.

    Looks pretty good. I like double layer hammocks. How does it feel, comfort wise?
    Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

    Comfort

    Thanks.

    Feels great without the pad. I actually dozed off in it while trying it out. With the pad, I haven't tested long enough to know. Initial impression was good, maybe not completely as comfortable as it is without the pad.
