Thanks Gunner for your help with the underquilt. You are such an awesome host. I'm so glad we came to the last Merchant Mill hang you hosted, just so we could come to this one. You and Terminator do a great job. Thank you again for setting up such a great hang.

Amazing how those buggers can alter their appearance to fit in with the surrounding environment.

    Best hang yet!

Gunner76 and Terminator can write the book on how to host a successful hang. They got it all perfect from name tags for all, tons of support from vendors, someone even placed extra soap in the restrooms! Gunner made it a point to personally greet every new arrival and make them feel welcome. Great job, both of you!

And our chefs who worked all weekend to place such wonderful food on the table. Hotlips, Corey, Stubby, Shari, Terminator and those others whom I am forgetting (but we noticed your hard work!) ... Thank you! Wow! "Fatties" are so, so bad for you that they are wonderful.

Let us also remember our many sponsors: Batchstovez, Critterstand.com, Dutch, Jacks "R" Better, Warbonnet, Wilderness Logics, Whoopie Slings, Under Ground Quilts, Yama Mt Gear, ReadyStraps. TATO Gear, Mid-Atlantic Mt Works. Hammeck. 2QZQ, Smart Outdoors. All are cottage industries that deserve our support. Be sure to check out their web sites and purchase their high quality gear when needed.

Finally, what a wonderful, eclectic bunch of campers. It was fun getting to know all of you! Thanks for a great weekend!

Gunner, congrats on the great hosting you did for this hang. Looks like your now in the books for hosting two hangs a year now. Great job.
    Straight out of Clayton.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Yes indeed, a fine time was had by all. Gunner76 and Terminator had it together in spite of two dead vehicles. As can be seen from the pics posted above, we also had great support from our vendors which we appreciate.

CoreyR, Shari, Stubby, Kingsford and Dutch Oven Chef Hotlips kept us fed in style! Thanks so much for all the great eats!

Thanks also to Meckelangelo and Meckie for taking time away from the Hammeck shop in PA to come hang with us. Enjoyed hanging with you guys and seeing your fine hammocks.

Also had a fine paddle on the mill pond with OBXH2O (a 3 hour tour) and look forward to another. Maybe we can really get lost next time!

From a little hang that started last spring, the Merchant's Mill Pond hangs have taken their place with the many other fine hangs around the country. Can't wait 'til the next one in the spring.
