No raffle this time... to busy hiking and exploring everywhere. I hiked just shy of 11 miles on Saturday all around. It is awesome! Def going back soon.
Cindy mentioned a backpacking trip up there. Anyone interested before full on winter?

Thanks again!
Not sure how I came home without one of those puppies!
Sat night a bunch of us were around the fire /camp area. I made a visit to the outhouse. When I came out minutes later everyone was gone and the fire was extinguished I I went to hammock ,clothing covered in steak juice l. I was worried about bears for a few minutes then realized they would have to get through all of you first since I was in the middle :-) Zzzzzz
Are you trying to say you fell asleep on the crapper?
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.
Hah no it was literally a few minutes.
Just a quick thank you to everyone for a great weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my first official group hang and look forward to many more. A giant thank you to Cindy, Elliot and family for allowing us to share their amazing property and hospitality. The pups are adorable and the little dogs were were pretty cute too. Food was delicious, I'll need to step up my game going forward to repay the great chefs. The pics and video have inspired me to get a decent camera as well. Was really nice hangin' with y'all.
No worries Jerry. I had your back. Shortly after you went to bed Saturday night, a bear wandered into the campground with a bottle of A1 Steak Sauce in his left hand. I "rassled" him to the ground with one hand tied behind my back and neutralized him by throwing the A1 Steak Sauce into the river near Tom's (Hikerdude60's) hooch. Figured if anyone else was going to smell tasty it would be him. The bear got mad and took off. All's well that ends well.
All the best.
