Will each dogbone of a Ridgerunner be able to be "looped" over the anchor, or would a continuous loop that is larksheaded to both of the dogbones work better? I see your strap anchor, but I like this one better and want to get away with shorter tree straps.
Yes the ridge runner dog bones will fit over the anchor no problem. I would lean towards using a single endless loop larks headed over the two dog bones. Bot sure why, just my gut feeling. You could also use the stock yoke on the dog bones with a endless loop larks headed over it. Basically the same setup as the stock without the buckles. The added forces applied by a bridge hammock will require a double twist as if you were over 250lbs. I also believe you will have some accelerated wear of the amsteel leader. I have not thoroughly tested either so do so at your own risk.

Thanks Giovanni!
I got to use my hammock anchors this past weekend and they worked wonderfully. Thanks!
Thanks for the report. Will these be replacing your whoopies I see listed in your profile?

Took mine to the woods this weekend. They performed marvelously. Definitely easy to use and offer quick adjustment. Also, these allow a much broader range of distance adjustment while using less amsteel. I am sold and satisfied!
