    Lawson Glowire with Stingers

Can you use a 2mm line like Lawson Glowire with Dutch Stingers? On the dutch website it mentions 1.75mm line, didn't know if they could be used with slightly larger line as well. Thanks.

The lawson line has a core in it, so it doesn't flatten like the braided dyneema does. Because of this, the line doesn't fit under the antenna. So, no, I would not recommend using the glow wire with the stinger/fly/wasp.

This is correct. Stingerz work with hollow braid rope.

You may want to consider placing the guy line adjusted on the tarp, easier to stay dry adjusting it in the rain that way. I'd message Dutch if I were you.

Well there you go. Dutch answered while I was watching KC kill it in the 2nd!

I'm brand new to this, just ordered my blackbird today and added 2 stingers to my cart. I was looking for reflective line to use as guyline and use with the stingers as an end-only ridge line. I know a lot of people don't like the discoball effect but I am currently more concerned with visibility at night than stealthiness. Do yall have another suggestion? Maybe I should use zing it for the ridge line and glowire for guylines?

Aren't stingers meant to be hooked to the tarp sewn loop or d ring whereas flyz are run in-line? Is this what you're talking about?

I guess I could use the glowire if I used a continuous RL with biners instead of end-only RL with stingers?

TTT I was hoping to order some line by Friday.

Is there a reflective hollow core 1.75mm line that can be used with stingers? Or can I ONLY use zing it or lash it with stingers?

I also just realized I posted this in suspension forum, I meant to post in the weather protection forum. Sorry about that.

Yes, Stingers would be used for end off lines and connected to the d rings. I'm not very knowledgeable but u don't think you'll find any braided glow line. Maybe ask around and see how bright the zing it is... I wouldn't know, don't own any. I'm using bright yellow mason line ands is pretty bright in a flashlight.

No sir, I don't know of any, but since you have the stingers you could use a reflective bicycle spoke cover for your reflective component or add a loop or 2 of reflective cord.
