    I would think if you had an 11'RL tarp and a 12' hammock you would need doors so you could set them up as vestibules to give you the proper end protection.
    Everything is usually fine until the wind starts whipping the rain around then you realize how little end protection one has with a catcut tarp.

    My tarp with doors is lighter than my cat cut hex. So that is what I'll be using for the near future. I think I do like more than average sag. I can't get the tarp down close to the hammock if I want to because it hits the suspension. As a result, I'm always hanging out the bottom. It's nice in warm weather, but not so appealing in winter. I do have an UQP, which helps, but I don't want to have to use it. My pole mods also open up the tarp quite a bit.
