    Fulltime RidgeRunner???

Hey yall, sorry I haven't been on the forum in a while. I have the 1.1 single layer RR. Would I be able to use it full time??? I'm 123 lbs. I just don't want to accidentally ruin it by overusing it. Jeez, I'm i high school, and already have back pain. But the RR somehow solves it for me. Advice is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't i I were you. 1.1 hammocks don't last much more than a year for me. A big huge comfy tablecloth is like 18$.... Best sleep ever for me.

At 123 lbs...i think you'll be fine. I would just keep an eye on the stress points and if you start to see more wear than normal, stop using it every night. BTW, love the area you're in. Been to Moran the last 2 years for vacation and helped with a branding in Dubois the first year. Beautiful out there.

I would get or make a more robust bridge hammock for indoor use and keep the light bridge for hiking. I don't know if the fabric can be "overused", but with increased use, there is a danger of damaging it.

Go for it. Use it. I have been sleeping every nite now indoors and outdoors occasionally for over 1.5 yrs,,and no wear and tear on my single layer without bugnet. I even have the same set of whoopies on it as well. If it wears out,,will get another one as durable as they are. I'm 6' and 165lbs naked so it will take a lot of abuse. And like I said,,I sleep in it every nite. Before that,,slept in my single layer with bugnet for a couple of months as well before getting the single without bugnet. I will also mention, that on the single layer I use every nite, in the very middle, below where my shoulders touch the center of the hammock,,over a year ago,,I discovered a pin hole..could have been a blemish in the material,,or I might have even snagged it,,I dabbed seam sealer on both sides and its never stressed a bit, or ever separated as seam sealer is once dry is tough stuff and the hammock takes my abuse every nite. Size of the hole was about 1/8 inch or so and has never concerned me one bit. Its a well built hammock.

OK ill try it. If wear and tear occur, I'll get a netless 1.9 or somethin' like that.
