    Speed Hook at Dutchwaregear.com

I am proud to introduce the Speed Hook as my newest titanium suspension device. They weigh only 2 grams each and I think they are one of the fastest and lightest way to suspend a hammock. They cut down on the weight of the whoopie sling by making it so you only need half the amount of rope. They eliminate the bury so your minimum distance can be pretty much right up to the tree. Also if your hugger is short, the lead will work as an extension as long as the amsteel is only on the front of the tree. With a whoopie the bury would sometimes wind up at the hugger loop and make it a pain to adjust. These are sold separately or as a complete suspension. There are options for different colored Continuous Loops and Amsteel Leads, different size Tree Huggers, and you can even add Dutch Clips or the new Adutchable Clips. I want to get these in as many hands as possible so I am introducing them for only $8.00 a pair and there is a limit of 2 pair per customer. You could add this suspension to your $30 PolyD or ARGON hammock and have a total cost of $55 for a high quality hammock with a complete suspension.

Question, the description says they come "as hardware or spliced on Amsteel". Since the hook end is open, and the amsteel runs through the hole on the opposite side of the hook (i.e. no splicing needed there since it's a simple piece of rope), what part would be spliced?, and what would it be spliced onto?

Yes for the amsteel lead I have a loop on one end to attach to the hugger. Then once the amsteel is in the hole I back splice the end so it can't fall off. You don't want to drop this into leaves.

Looks good Dutch. Will the 'Adutchable Clips' be listed on your site shortly as a stand alone item?
