Go Dutch Go Dutch you are always thinking. That's grand!

Ordered a few today, with a sprinkle of argon, couldn't fight off a couple of extra flys so I just had to get some hooks to defend myself with. Thanks Dutch now i feel like a super hero!
The Sluggard's craving will be the death of him, for his hands refuse to work.
These hooks work great! I spliced up some 6 foot leads with some gray amsteel and a couple of loop. These things are rock solid, and pass my bounce test.

This is what I'm going with. Made my first order from Dutch and I got the Adutchable clip to control my 6' strap, it's replacing a carabiner. This set up also helps replacing half the bulk of a Whoopie and Speed Hook replaces the toggle.
Overall, should remove 1/3 the bulk and 2/3 off current weight due to carabiner and toggle. Thanks DUTCHMAN. Better than SuperMan
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Had to update suspension system in profile.
This Halloween Professor Hammock was scaring the kids coming to his door with tech sheets like this one which says under 'bending radius' that
Any sharp bend in a rope under load decreases its strength substantially and may cause premature damage and failure. In sizing the radius of bitts, fairleads and chocks the following guidelines are offered:
Where a rope bends more than 10 degrees around bitts, chocks or across any surface, the diameter of the contact surface should not be less than 3 times the rope diameter. A ratio of 4 to 1 (or larger) would be better because the rope durability increases as the diameter of the surface over which it is worked increases.
Dutch might have been the big kid who ran away screaming.

Grizzly's info has me a bit worried about this suspension method now. I will have to keep a close look at any premature wear on suspension lines.

I think this has been discussed here before in relation to whoopie hooks. I agree we are not doing it exactly right with these small radius bends but:
1) we are not seeing failures despite thousands of nights of hanging.
2) samson doesn't even make thimbles for Amsteel in the size we use. I think this indicates it might now be a huge concern...
Just my $.02 but I think it makes sense to visually inspect the components each time they are used and probably replace every year or three.
