ID this camo Wal Mart "unknown fabric"?

We have one Wal Mart in our area that carries fabric. They had several camo fabrics, most of which were labeled as "unknown fiber remnants". The people working there also had no idea what everything was. Most of it appeared to be cotton or cotton blends. One looked allot like the polyester used in hunting clothes. The last unknown fabric appeared to be ripstop nylon, but it looks like it's been coated with something. It has a vinyl-ish feel to it. Front side is textured liked ripstop, back side was almost smooth. It was very opaque. I'm guessing it's a urethane coating maybe?
Anyway, it was $3.90 a yard. Not sure what I would use it for, but thought about buying a few yards anyway....

Best guess would be a PVC coating probably weighs around 4-5+oz/sq yard. You could make some heavy duty waterproof stuff sacks or a medium weight pack?

Might do well for stuff sacks like JJ said, this stuff is not breathable, and definetly not for hammocks or tarps as its really heavy.

There are a half dozen different materials it could be. From the description, it sounds like what they use at the bottom of alot of the backpacks now to add waterproofing. I've seen alot of gloves made out of similar. My guess is that it is polyester and not nylon as well. Probably Extreme 2 layer ripstop. By opaque do you mean white? If so then it is w/p/b.
