DD underblanket and Hennessy jungle safari

Hi,

I have a hennessy jungle safari hammock, http://hennessyhammock.com/catalog/s...afari_zip/#top, and I wonder if the dd hammock underblanket would fit? The jungle safari is pretty big but is it to big?

BTW This is my first hammock and I haven't received it yet. But I live in Sweden and it's already pretty cold and I can't stand the thought of having to wait until summer before testing it!

I have the Safari as well, and I have used it with a short HG Incubator (which is tiny in comparison with the DD Underblanket) successfully. The underquilt does not have to fit the hammock - it has to fit you! I'm not familiar with the DD Underblanket, but if it's like other underquilts, it should move with you when you're in the hammock.

You might also want to think about a smaller / lighter hammock for hiking... I love the Safari because it's humongous and has a pretty comfortable lay - but I would never ever take it hiking, unless somebody else would do the carrying for me The DD Underblanket is also no flyweight...

I have the DD Jungle hammock (huge) and the DD under quilt for it. Works perfectly and has good coverage. So far it has kept me warm in 24 degrees. That's pretty good because I'm a very, very cold sleeper.
