Hello fellow hammockers, it looks like a great site here, friendly and full of good information.
I live in eastern Canada, hiking and camping since I was young, 46 now. At the cottage, we had an old canvas hammock for daytime lounging. My first hammock camping started 6yrs ago with a Hennessy and was hooked, the comfort, lack of morning ache/pain/stiffness was gone. Since then I've been trying different suspension setups trying to make things lighter, easier to use or just for the fun of tinkering with fancy rope and titanium.
The next project is to make a few hammock stands, a portable for car camping and one for the house. Also, a first attempt at diy hammocks with some new fabric on the way. One hammock/bugnet for lightweight hiking and the other for the sleeping in the house.
John,
