HammockFan.com Presents A How To and New Product Reveal

Here I demonstrate some of the ways you can attach your strap to the tree when using the HammockFan.com Strap Anchor, including how to use of the new Tree Anchor.

The HammockFan.com Tree Anchor weighs only 6 grams and is anodized to match your Strap Anchors. It cannot be lost because it is semi permanently attached to your straps. They are self adjusting. They make adjusting the strap up and down the tree a breeze. Also there is no occupant weight limit as long as it is used as intended and per the instructions.

I did not state this in the video but the endless loop is attached to the strap loop with the thinnest end toward the strap. This way the bury (fat) end is toward the Tree Anchor. This keep the loop secure in the Tree Anchor should there be any loosing of the strap around the tree.

This is a preview only. These are expected to be on HammockFan.com the end of this week or the beginning of next week. They are going to come in silver and blue like the Strap Anchor.

The first batch will sell for an introductory price of $6.99 each. When they are gone the price will be $8.99 each.

I've been seeing a lot of your stuff recently, and I really like what I've seen

The problem I foresee with something like this is a lot of places I hang have a policy of at least 1" (2" in come cases) webbing must be used in contact with the tree. Having the amsteel loop in contact with the tree like that could be grounds for a ranger or park owner to tell you to take down your rig.

Is there a way to set it up differently, so the webbing is the only thing to touch the tree?

    Thanks for the compliment.
These are using 1 inch strap. The hardware is small enough to fit through the loop on the strap. In areas where you might have issues, simply just take the strap and hardware through the loop on the strap. Problem solved.
