What's good and bad about living in New Orleans is there is no good hiking close, so everything is either a 7 hour car ride or a flight. Once you get over the flight part of it, it opens up a lot of places. I'm going to try to fly to a couple places a year.Originally Posted by animalcontrol

I WANT TO CAMP IN SNOW AGAIN!
I guess that is a Yes vote for me.
I like to camp / hike in all weather, but cool to cold is best for me.

I checked and I can get a flight 1 week out from NOLA to Portland, Maine (which is only an hour or so drive to cool places up there). If only I didn't have a wedding to go to next weekend.
