Enjoyed so much meeting you, Brian, and your family ...

Note to HF members: this family has three that served, currently serve, or will serve in the armed forces.

I promised everyone the Taco Soup recipe, so here it is:

1 can pinto beans 16 oz
1 can white or kidney beans 16 oz I did kidney
    1 can corn 11-12 oz
1 can rotel tomatoes and chilies 11 oz
1 can small diced or crushed tomatoes ( whatever suits your family) 28 oz
1 can diced green chilies 4 oz
1 envelope taco seasoning mix (i use original old el paso)
    1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 lb ground beef/ground turkey/shredded chicken you pick

    cook meat and drain
while meat is cooking add everything else (DO NOT DRAIN CANS) into a crock pot
    add meat
cook on high 2 hours or low for 4
garnish with sour cream, cheese, chopped onion, peppers, and/or tortilla chips

I doubled it for this last batch for the Hang, at home the original directions serve a family of 6 with some left over for lunch the next day.
