check grizz's videos, he shows how in one of them. Really simple.pass the loop thru twice and cinch it down.

If you want to change an ENO from its existing suspension to ring buckles or cinch buckles, it's eaily accomplished without untying anything. If you look at it close, you'll figure it out. All you have to do it remove the biners, then untie the single knot that is up near the loop. After you do that, then add your buckles of choice by a larks head. The end. If you need a hand, let me know, I'll hook ya up.

Think I may add the buckles via larks head to Amsteel, and a larks head just below the gather, that way I have both options available, old line for biners, and the buckles.
Guess I am just not envisioning how you would tie a larks head around the buckles with the line still run through the gather? You would have to run the whole hammock through the loop, correct?

For a little more clarification, the above method has 2 advantages.
1- It let's the whole width of the buckle be grasped by the cording. That prevents it from sliding to one corner.
2- It doubles up the cording that runs through the end channel (or as a lark's head on the hammock end). For narrow cording, that helps spread the force out over more surface area.
This method works equally well with rings, buckles, tri-rings, etc.
