I actually considered a Dutch first before I purchased something else. Still very impressed and likely to purchase in the future. Was recommended by someone in the forum. I can't wait to try one out!

these have been on the market now for a few years. Any issues or concerns, that have not been worked out? I am glad I waited for the bug net, because I freeze, in 70 degree weather so this may be the trick for both warmth and bugs
Hi
Questions about the summer sock:
1) Will i be able to rotate the sock 180 degrees, so the Argon is on top and the mesh is completely at the bottom, for wind or dew protection, from top?
(I am asking since the tapered end is non symmetrical, i presume.)
2) Will it fit an Hexon W1.6 wide, hammock?
it's versatility and weight, are looking great.
Thanks

You can rotate it 180 degrees. It fits the wide fine but you can get on an angle where the sock is tight. However normal sleeping position doesn't effect the width of the sock.

Slept in my summer sock and 72" dutchware last night just fine. At my "Lay angle", it didn't seem tight, but it was snug enough to hold my Jarbidge underquilt a bit more positively than just the suspension. I suspect that this sock will not only double as great wind protection, but also prevent any "Wind tunnel" effects caused by a momentary dip in insulation. It all feels like a "System" now.
