Reporting from Battle Creek, I have 12-15". Long term forecast cold, melting not expected any time soon. It may be a brisk 4 degrees as I head out to Ludington Friday morning, but clear driving. Friday high 31, staying warm throughout the evening. Saturday morning low 25, possible snow throughout the day, maybe an inch or two new accumulation, high 28. Sunday morning low 10, with a clear drive back home.
Weather looks good. Snow and cold all week with a slight warm up come the weekend.
It is with deep regret I report that Gargoyle (G-unit, Garhooligan, The Big G) will not be attending this year (actually its 2 years in a row). He said he is traveling out west for work and to say hi to everyone. I offically call BS on this! This gathering is way more important than some silly job.

Got a question for the MI natives...
OK, so I am looking on the Michigan DNR page for the passport. It says "Allow 7 days for delivery of your Non- Resident Recreation Passport. If you plan to visit a park before receipt of your permit, purchase one at the park and not on the e-store." Since we are within the 7 day window, will I be able to get one at the park we will be at, or do i need to stop somewhere on the way?
