Any of you guys object to a new guy hangin with yall!! only been in sipsey once with my 4yo son. Didn't know the caves were closed until we got there, enjoyed it anyway! I would really enjoy learning a little more about the area!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Count me in!! Already got it on the calendar, my wife tried to guilt me about not being around for trick or treating. I have to say this is the most interesting and informative forum i have ever seen. Nice to know there are like minded ppl out there, I had no idea. I tell ppl i'm going hiking they look at me with a blank stare, when i tell them i sleep in a hammock i really lose them! ha ha! Looking forward to meeting everyone! do i need to bring anything special?

I know what you mean! People at work think I'm nuts for staying in the woods. As far as bring anything special, I'm not sure about that yet! We will start talking about the trip and making better plans around Oct.? It's looking like we are gong to have a Good turn out for this trip! I cant wait!

I should be able to make it, at least for Friday night. I hope to bring along a recent convert as well, maybe a few others. I got to finish 3 more hammocks so the friends can enjoy freedom from the ground.

MacEntyre, I'd be very pleased to have your company for the trip to Alabama. However, it is never certain that I will be free to go until closer to the appointed time. We can stay in touch, and, as the time gets closer and I get a better feel for what's to come, we can make better plans. Get a back-up plan in place if you can, but hopefully, things will fall into place so that I can go and you can ride with me.
