Thank you. The floor was just wet. We had a snow storm just prior to filming, so there was all manner of grime and sludge on the floor. We hosed it (and the truck) down to improve the quality of the video.Originally Posted by Z0rst

I got to see this stand in action at the recent FHV, and it is definitely on my short list. For me it will be a quick set up at home, in the yard, at the beach, ect., while being super easy to store and care for. A lot of thought has gone into this stand which shows when the hammock is loaded, it is very stable. Great job folks.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
At one point there was talk if an aluminum version. Is that still in the works?
Cost compared to the actual savings in weight we felt that it was not feasible to put an aluminum stand into production. An aluminum stand would have retailed at approx. double the cost of our current stand. The weight savings would have not been half the weight of the current stand. We are continuing to look for a dependable and reasonably priced source for aluminum. If we find the market will handle the increased price for aluminum in the future we will be very pleased to offer an aluminum stand.
