I'm sure some where in here I read that Dutch is working on speed hooks for 1/8" amsteel but can't seem to find which thread it was in.
I wondering when he thinks they will be real and I can get me a set of them. I'm 240 Lbs and see some wear on my 7/64 already.
thinking 1/8" would wear better with my mass hanging on it. Plus my son wants my speed hooks now for himself.

sorry for not saying thanks for the info on this befor my other post back at Dutch.
That would work but if only a week out I will hold off and get the new speed hooks then.
I think I'm addicted to titanium from Dutch, that will be my 6th order sence labor day.

I proto typed it and wasn't satisfied with the results. I had it redone and will pick that up today. If that look good I will make a batch next week. I'm working on it ant trying to make the right before I go into production. The 1/8 is a little stiffer and doesn't act quite the same way going around bends and compressing through the hook. Ditto, we are looking to purchase two PolyD hammocks with 1/8th speed hook set ups. Holding off to see if the 1/8th is going to get the Dutch seal of approval and if not prolly will go with the originals instead. Might be watching out for a Black Fri sale too...
